If the work is longer, then you and the client already have a structure in mind, both have to agree on a money releasing procedure. It is called payment structure.
There is a working agreement between you and the client, in whom the working hours, fees, structure, etc. are fixed, so according to this agreement the client’s money is paid to a third party in the market place where This transaction will be temporarily secured, When the job is done, then the marketplace will deducts their commission from the client’s money and transfers the rest to your account.
When the contract to work with the client on a project will be according to the specified time then the client will track your time, there are different methods of time management and time tracking.
Time sheets are used to track and record this time data.
The final working time for handing over the completed project should be fixed before the escrow, fixed time from both ends is called deadline.
The client is sometimes given a lure to take the project, which is called mock-up, which means making a small sample of the client’s desired work for free in advance. Freelancers advertise their gigs on many marketplace platforms, There are Remarks and stars showing with Gigs.
After getting the work done, client or freelancer writes their good or bad impressions on each others profile, which is called reviews or feedback.
These reviews are like tags. If they are bad, Then hope of good disappears. And if they are positive, more chances to get hired or appear as a trusted client.
